Sue Ann Gilroy (republican canidate for mayor of Indianapolis) says that if she
gets elected that she will dramaticly crack down on graffiti. She says "It is a
crime that signals the coming onslaught of more serious crimes, drugs and violence. I will
make it a priority to fight the blight on our neighborhoods when I am mayor."

Friday, September 10, 1999 Nuvo newsweelky is looking for Indianapolis graffiti
artists to interview for an upcomming article about the local scene. They want to
interview as many writers as possible. If anyone is interested in being interviewed

Thursday, July 8th, 1999 Mayor Goldsmith has decided to assign a graffiti task
force to Indianapolis. The city is trying to push increased punishment on people
arested for graffiti. They are also trying to prohibit the selling of spraypaint to
